Overview

Currently under construction in the town of Beveridge, Ooranya Estate will become a home to a community with more than 660 homes built around a huge 1.5 – hectare green park. The ideal address to raise a family in a relaxed environment with plenty of fresh country air.

A large open public space is also planned directly opposite the community, with plans for community facilities and local sporting matches. Residents are also a stone’s throw from the new Beveridge Primary School campus, the existing primary school, childcare centres and kindergarten, providing parents a wide range of educational options to choose from.

Scope

Rokon were initially engaged to complete the external works, this contract involved bulk earthworks, sewer, drainage, water, gas, electrical, communication service installation and road infrastructure construction. Rokon were subsequently awarded Stages 4A, 4B and Stage 1 which have since been completed. Consequent engagement & current delivery includes Stages 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9A, 9B, 10, 11, 14A, 15A & 16A and Melbourne Water drainage system, which involves dual 1800mm diameter outfall for Ooranya spanning over 1km in length. The Ooranya Estate will yield almost 1,000 lots in total in the popular town of Beveridge.

Outcome

This build is currently underway. Through our dedication to the project and ability to work through any challenges, Rokon has built a close working relationship with TCG Construction Services Pty Ltd.
