Overview

Atherstone Estate is one of the major development projects for Lendlease. In partnership with Melton City Council, Atherstone Estate offers affordable and balanced living to Victorians in Western Melbourne.

The project includes a bridge crossing linking the existing Melton South to Western Region Business Accelerator and Centre of Excellence (BACE), a 100 hectare regional park, community activity centres, educational, recreational & retail offerings, and a new railway station amongst many facilities.

Scope

Rokon was engaged to carry out the civil works at Atherstone, comprising of 8 Stages at Middle Park Estate involving Bulk Earthworks for 400 Housing Lots, laterally with construction of all the new services vital for the serviceability of new housing development. Construction of asphalt roads, concrete laneways, concrete footpath and shared path were also executed to deliver the civil infrastructure requirements of the project. Forming an indispensable part of the Lendlease Community at Atherstone.

Outcome

With works now complete, Rokon have successfully met all program milestones, whilst delivering current stages, and being awarded future stages for Palara Estate. Rokon are proud to be a project partner in the development of Atherstone Estate, helping Lendlease create solid foundations for the delivery of this project.
