Overview

Grandview Estate is a master planned community within the Melton City Council Municipality for one of Australia’s largest developers. The estate will become home to over 1600 families and a number of public facilities including; a school, proposed community activity centre, sports reserve and conservation reserve.

Scope

• Grandview Wetlands
  • Over 55,000 m3 of rock excavation in transit including construction of impervious clay liner
  • 800 lm of drainage pipeline works up to 1500mm including 1800×600 concrete encased box culvert
  • Temporary diversion channel construction to allow constant flow from Grandview whilst completing works
  • Construction of structural pits & associated solar lighting as part of landscape feature

• Stages 14 & 15
  • Coordination of sewer rising main & pump station works with Califam
  • Council Practical Completion achieved on both stages
  • Final electrical compliance check on-going in preparation for title registration

• Stage 17
  • Sewer, watermain, road pavement construction complete including base course asphalt
  • Concrete sleeper retaining wall complete
  • Electrical reticulation works on-going
  • Targeting Mid-March 24 Council PC
• Stage 19
  • Commenced in January 2024
  • Sewer & drainage works on-going
  • Water reticulation works scheduled to commence over the next two weeks
  • Targeting Early-June 24 Council PC

Outcome

This build is currently underway. Through our dedication to the project and ability to work through any issues whether it be design or otherwise, Rokon has produced close working relationships with our clients, stakeholders and authorities thus we have recently been awarded the next two stages in the sub divisional works.
